At Breakfast Club,  your child will sit at the table to eat a nutritional meal from a choice of the following:

  • Milk or water
  • Choice of fresh fruit (e.g. apples, bananas, oranges), Yoghurt
  • Cereal (Weetabix, Cornflakes, Rice Krispies etc.)
  • Toast, bagels, crumpets with butter, marmite, jam etc.

After breakfast, the children will help to clear away the breakfast. There will then be stories and quiet games until Nursery starts at 8.30 am.

Lunch Club

11.30am to 12.30pm for all children.

Cost £7.00 per day.

Children bring in their own packed lunch.

Morning children will be taken into Lunch Club in the Family Room by the ‘Lunch Ladies’. Tables are set with plates and glasses and the children are encouraged to put their sandwiches and savouries onto their plate. Once these are eaten they may finish with yoghurts, fruit etc.

We positively encourage healthy eating at nursery and hope that you will support us by providing your child with a healthy nutritional lunch.

In line with healthy eating guidelines we prefer your child not to bring in crisps or sweets in their packed lunch. From experience your child may not need as much in their lunch box as you think!

The following may give you a rough idea—but you know your child best!

  • 1 small filled roll/ sandwich/wrap/ cheese and biscuits or pasta mix
  • Raw carrot/celery/cucumber
  • 1 piece of fresh fruit/bunch of grapes
  • Yoghurt/fromage frais /small box of raisins

We keep lunch boxes as cool as possible, but it is a good idea to put in an ice pack.

Morning children need to be collected at 12.30pm.
